EMPTY wards at Cobham Cottage Hospital could be turned into a centre for rape victims in nine months time residents and members of The Friends were told on Friday (November 6).
A community table top sale is being organised for Sunday November 29 at Cobham Village Hall, in Lushington Drive, Cobham, to raise money for St John Ambulance and the 1st Cobham Scouts.
Musicians got together for their first rehearsal on Tuesday (September 22) for the launch of the Elmbridge Community Big Band.

The Cobham Junior Netball club is looking for new members, from school years six to 10 to join for the upcoming season.
The club trains at Heathside school, in Brooklands Lane, Weybridge on Sunday mornings from 10am to 11.30am.
The first training session starts on Sunday, September 21 and prospective members are encouraged to turn up where they will be given a membership pack and further details.

Esher Molesey garden society will begin its series of Autumn lectures at 8pm on Monday, September 7, at St Nicholas Church Hall, in Summer Road, Thames Ditton.
Admission costs £1 for visitors with members getting in free for the illustrated talk, based on Ann Beauchamp's trip from the Amazon to Machu Picchu.

Elmbridge youngsters aged between 11 and 19 are being encouraged to take part in an 'Elmbridge has talent competition'.
Although the final is not until Saturday, October 24, youth organisations and schools are being encouraged to enter up to three acts, who would perform at Reed's School, in Sandy Lane, Cobham.
The winner, who can showcase any skill, will receive £1000 for their school or organisation.
