St Andrews primary school is holding its Christmas fair on Monday, November 30 at the school in Lockhart Road.
Taking place from 3pm until 5pm, everyone is welcome to take part in a chocolate tombola, a lucky dip and the festive raffle.
Children will also be able to visit Santa in his grotto and make Christmas arts and crafts.
Elmbridge council is calling all Indiana Jones wannabes for a half term activity session which will look at what archaeologist's do.
The scheme, named Calling Young Diggers, will be held on Wednesday, October 28, at Elmbridge Museum, in Church Street, Weybridge.
Children aged eight to 12 are being invited to get a hands on experience to explore the world of archaeology, between 10am and 3pm at the museum.
There will be a chance to examine trays of Roman, medieval and pre historic objects and take part in a mini dig, as well as cave painting and pot reconstruction.
The 2009 photographic competition has been launched by Elmbridge council.
The theme of this years competition is beautiful birds, bugs and butterflies.

Winning entries will be displayed on the council's website and an exhibition of all entries will be held at the Civic Centre, in Portsmouth Road, Esher in November.
The Cobham Farmers' Market will take place on Saturday, October 17, on the Leg O' Mutton Field, in Downside Bridge Road.
The market will be open from 9.30am to 1.30pm, and features over 30 stalls featuring produce from local farmers.

Tickets are available for the talent show Elmbridge has Talent, which will be taking place on Saturday, October 24, at Reeds School, in Sandy Lane.
Doors open at 7pm, with the show starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £5 for adults and £3 for under 19's and are available from the Civic Centre, in Portsmouth Road, Esher.
The competition will feature 10 unique acts from the Borough performing a combination of singing, dancing, live music and dramatic readings.

Surrey Police is appealing for the public's help in identifying two men caught on CCTV carrying out a series of fuel thefts from petrol stations including one in Cobham.
The Cobham Centre is organising a day trip to Salisbury on Monday, October 19.
A coach will leave the centre for retired people, in Oakdene Road, at 9am and will aim to return at around 4.30pm.
The cost of the trip is £12.50 and places need to be booked by Friday, October 9. To book a place, phone the centre manager on 01932 596031.
The ACM Gospel Choir will be performing at St Andrews Church, in Downside Bridge Road on Friday, October 23.
The choir, who reached the semi finals of the BBC's Last Choir Standing, will be introduced by Michael Aspel OBE and supported by the St Andrews Children's Church of England school choir.
Tickets cost £15 for the evening, which starts at 7pm. All proceeds will go the Newlife Foundation For Disabled Children, the chosen charity of the Mayor of Elmbridge, Councillor James Vickers.
