A free music workshop is being put on for youngsters aged 13 to 19 on Thursday, August 6 in the Lower Green Community Centre.
Running from 2pm to 8pm, at the centre in Off Farm Road, in Esher, the session is a chance for young musicians to record their own music and get advice, tuition and support from professionals in the music industry.

An Australian pastor who has written international best selling songs popped into a church in Esher on Sunday, July 19.
Tom Inglis visited Cornerstone the Church, which is based at the Gold suite in Sandown Park, to give a sermon that was alive with music and activities.
He encouraged the younger members of the church to take part in puppet theatre to pray, and for the slightly older children, helped them to make pan pipes which they used to make joyful noises.
Residents in Thames Ditton spent Sunday July 19 getting into the community spirit by taking part in the nationwide project, The Big Lunch.
Neighbours from Kings Drive took part in the project which aims to bring communities throughout the country together by holding a lunch party.
The Elmbridge Community Safety Partnership is looking to build closer links with resident associations in the borough in an effort to combat crime and anti social behaviour.
The partnership currently communicates with 32 resident groups, which works out as roughly a third of Elmbridge, but wants to have more dealings with the groups so they can combat issues quickly.

Police are investigating after £15,000 worth of computer equipment was stolen from Esher College.
The burglary, which happened in the dead of night between 2pm and 8am on Saturday, June 20, saw burglars break into one of the classrooms at the college, in Western Green Road, Thames Ditton.
The thieves broke into an office by damaging the door and smashing through glass panels, behind which 22 computers and a hard drive were stored.
ACS International school has released its International Baccalaureate (IB) results, which showed that students received a 97% pass rate.
The school, in Portsmouth Road, had an average score of 34 points, which is the equivalent of 512 UCAS points or four A's at A-level.
Students will now take their results as they head off to universities all across the world.
Over 60 children added their hand and footprints to a banner on Saturday July 18, opposing a 14ft Vodafone mast planned to be erected in Esher.
Campaigners are fighting plans by Vodafone to install the mast and two 6ft tall equipment boxes next to an alleyway in Lower Green Road, over fears that it would be an ideal place for attackers to hide, and be unsafe for children.
The application was kicked out by Elmbridge council in September, but the phone company have taken it to appeal, which is to be held on Tuesday, July 28.
An Oxshott man has been found guilty of failing to notify Elmbridge council that he had a savings account with £25,000 in it, whilst still claiming council tax and housing benefits.
Gavin Hark, 35, of Waverley Road, pleaded guilty at Staines magistrates court, on Thursday, July 16, after receiving over £7500 worth of benefits over a six year period, until September last year.
Elmbridge youngsters aged between 11 and 19 are being encouraged to take part in an 'Elmbridge has talent competition'.
Although the final is not until Saturday, October 24, youth organisations and schools are being encouraged to enter up to three acts, who would perform at Reed's School, in Sandy Lane, Cobham.
The winner, who can showcase any skill, will receive £1000 for their school or organisation.

The chef famed for BBC's Ready Steady Cook and Saturday Kitchen is supporting the hospice's campaign in association with sponsors Garsons Farm to encourage everyone to fire up their barbecues for the charity.
